Mini Christmas Dinner

We had a mini Christmas dinner. Andy his family flew in that day and Suzy was leaving the next day to meet up w/hubby Trevor for Christmas in Cali so we wanted to get together real quick. We had dinner and than did presents for those who aren't going to be there Christmas day. Jayden didn't open any since he was exhausted from traveling and it was late so Baron opened them all and did a great job.

Date Night

We had a great date night planned. We sadly didn't take actual pictures of our hot selves so these clips from online will have to do. I didn't tell Michael where we were going so it was fun each destination. We went to dinner at Market Street Grill, we've never been there together. We got crab cakes for appetizer, I got salmon for dinner and Michael got lobster and some ribs. I've tried lobster one other time and didn't like it but I dared again and it was good.

We went downtown to see the lights but that was not what happened. There was the MoTab concert plus normal light traffic so after driving for almost an hour to find a parking spot we bailed the idea since our next event was a timely one. So we went to Gateway and wondered around for a short time and then went to the theatre and watched TRON on 3D IMAX. I actually liked it more than I expected. That's a cool theatre as well. I never saw the original but I liked this one!

We brought the camera but just didn't pull it out so maybe next time we'll be better. We've lacked pictures lately :) Happy Holidays to you!!

Hello Ladies. So I believe Suzy and I were under the impression that we were going to do the full Christmas with dinner and presents on Tues. I wanted to make sure we were all on the same page. Dinner is at 8 and presents after. I know this would be late for the boys, but I'm giving to Suzy and want to see her open her presents so I assumed...And since we often are not celebrating on the 25th, I assumed...Respond to this and let me know what you are thinking about Tues either through the blog or text and I will let mom know. love you all more than we love cheese.

I made the blog green because I was thinking this was a little Christmas! Mom, you are doing great. We can have another run through on the posting stuffs.

On a separate note, we are NOT pregnant. Just not the right time apparently. O'well.

Mom posting

Okay I think I am posting, but I am not sure. I just looked over all the posts because Cindy had left it up on my computer, but I got confused and then realized I was reading them backwards! I wanted to put an exclamation mark in my label and it wouldn't allow me. Oh well.

Melissa I would like to know how you did a ven (is that right?) diagram story about the 3 Little Pigs. I think in my searching for what I am "good" at what I really want is to be bits and pieces of each of you. I am so proud of all of you. Now I am thinking, how in the world did you all write things and post pictures around the writing and so one. Another stupid moment - and there are so many . . . . So I am going to leave it there. The Boy Scout office is closing so I will have to go there tomorrow and I have Cub Scouts in a little over an hour.

The house is done. I hope you like it. If you don't, don't tell me, I couldn't handle it. If you do - tell me - over and over with great enthusiasm!

Warm Buddy

People that see Buddy's underbelly sometimes ask if I shave him. No, he is just super thin on the hair- I think he likes it that way, but going outside is a cold thing for him and without some extra warmth he shakes and freezes his tail off (you should see how short it is). Turkey Soup at School

The following photo is not for the weak (Melissa) :) I was eating the last of my leftover Thanksgiving turkey soup at school for dinner (I will be here late today) and I found a bone (don't feel bad Mom, it was educational). I told one of my classmates and then got excited that it was a vertebra. Haha, even she thought it was odd for me to look at it like that. So I took a picture and then hid it under the napkin. Enjoy.

Coolness

Saturday we went to Michael's work party and I won this. They were center pieces on our table and whoever was closest to the quantity won = me. I guessed 506 and there was 519, pretty dang close. So it's Jelly Belly's and Chocolate peppermint kisses. These are a ton of pictures from last week after the biggy snowstorm. Utah county really is missing out because everything is still covered in snow today, although its gone down quite a bit but here are some pictures. This is an icicle in the backyard that's over 5 feet long.

Here is a pencil skirt I think is so cute but I just haven't worn it yet....I don't feel I have a great top to go with it so this is my roommate taking pictures of my dress up. Sorry about the hair and make up - it's still morning :)

Michael shaved Lexy. He usually takes her to the groomers but tried it himself and he did awesome. She's a great dog and let him. But there's a lot more hair that I didn't post.

And here's my besty boyfriend. He got neutured last week so we've been together quite a bit. He's been a cuddler for sure. Here are pictures from a bit ago but he's still so cute.

And I seriously hold him like this a lot. This post and the upper picture (except not by my face usually).

So all is great and well in my world. No Thanksgiving pictures. I carry the camera with me everywhere but somehow still can't remember to take pictures. Happy Monday!!

Ooo, yea!

Thank you Melissa. Those are beautiful. I love the bright colors. I'm in class right now and we have a guest lecturer from the Burn unit at the University Hospital. The grafting pictures are making me gag. Must distract myself.
