Hello, hello, hello,
I only have 3 conferences left and then I am done with conferences for the year. It is a great time in that I like setting goals with the students- but it really sucks the life out of me and I am exhausted. I go to bed as soon as I get home and stay there until it is time to leave again.
I will see you all at the funeral (Bishop Losee) or at the play (Games Afoot) on Sat. I think Sat is the one-year anniversary of Skip's death- everyone remember to support Auntie if you can.

Family...

This is just a little comment about my feelings about our family. With so many people it's hard to connect all the time- but I'm grateful to know that we are the kind of family that pulls together when support is needed.

Good News and Bad News but, no Terribly news

So, the bad news first. That's what I think is best. Out of 16 eggs, only 10 were mature. Out of those 10 mature eggs, only 3 fertilized. So, the sperm looked great and were moving well. Basically I have hard eggs. Oh man! If we need to do IVF again we will need to use a needle to fertilize the eggs. This is more expensive.

The good news. We have 3 fertilized eggs! We only planned on transferring 2 in the first place. So, if we do not get pregnant this attempt then we will have to pay for medications and go through the hormones again!

We are doing the transfer this Saturday at 10:00am. We are going in at 9 am for acupuncture and paper work. Please, please, please pray that this will work this first time around. I don't want to do this again. Not at this point in the game. I just want to be done. We ultimatly want what the Lord wants but, hopefully we have the same goal in mind. ;)

EGGS

So, Trevor and I have given a generous donation today. We did egg retrieval today. Which means that the doctor used a very long needle to take the eggs out of my ovaries while I was asleep. Man, I love drugs. I feel slightly out of it but, good. Trevor gave his 'donation' this morning. So, our eggs are being fertilized today. I had 16 eggs...which is good. You normally have 1 or 2 a month. Hooray for hormone injections. We will find out tomorrow how many eggs will fertilize. Hopefully all of them. We will most likely have the fertilized eggs implanted aka put in my uterus, Sunday. So, please keep us in your prayers, thoughts and this will work. Hooray. Sorry I have no pictures. The needle would just scare you. ;)

Fingers Crossed

If all goes well- or better than well- I will be graduating Friday, 9 December from WSU. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I can make this deadline. To accomplish this, I must have my thesis project done, defended, and printed by Sat. 12 Nov. Thank you for your prayers and wishes.

I'm Engaged!!!

Since I'm sure you all heard the story...I'm still going to repeat it on here. Quick & short. Michael and I go up behind The Capitol a few times a year for relax and sunset. I'd never been there until him so it's something special for me with him in our relationship. Everytime we go up I always want to take pictures. So we have quite a few, but for this night I'm so glad I did. This is a picture prior to the proposal.

I called my Mom very first and then we went to his family's house and told them all the news. It was Shelby's 16th birthday party so we told the parents separately but soon after Michael gave Shelby a hug and told her he got her a new sister for her birthday. She was confused at first so he told her we got engaged and she was so excited and came to hug me. As we were hugging the family was confused so I yelled out "We're getting married!" They all jumped & screamed. It was quite fun. Than Shelby went back to partying business so don't worry, we didn't steal her thunder, she was happy we told them all then. Thanks to everyone for being excited and happy for us. I'm happier than I thought I could be. I love being able to think about my future and plan things with him in it. Knowing we'll be together forever is so comforting. Wedding plans are going awesome and are still so fun for me. P.S. We have a date!

Some randomness

It's been so long since I've blogged, I don't remember how to do pictures in order, so oh well.

I LOVE Tetris. Michael has it on his phone. I hadn't played it in awhile but that was good luck because I did better this night than ever in my life. I think my score was over 3 million!!! I was on level 67 and stuff. My hands were so sore after, when I asked Michael how long I had played he said like 1.5 hours...(I was supposed to be studying but I can always find something else to do). Regardless it was fun and I'm proud of my score!

I went to Mary Poppins with Michael's family for 3 of their birthdays (including Michaels), but Michael ended getting really sick that day so it was just me w/the family so I'm solo in the pictures. It was a good play, but I'd suggest not spending money on it.

Dad bought this in Missouri and I love it!

Holy Crap...

I went to my masters class on Tuesday, and I am going to have a challenge getting everything done on-time to graduate this fall. I have got to have everything ready and defend my paper by the first week of Nov. Wish me luck and during the month of Oct. watch out for wild bouts of tears from me. :)
