Retraction

Haha, Brock and I had a conversation today and we are just friends. He is not interested in pursuing relationships in general. I was good and strong. I'm so much better than I have been in the past it's just great. This is terribly personal to be putting on the blog but it's a good way to let everyone know. So the pressure is off and we are going to hang out as friends.

A Boy

So...there is a boy down here that I've started dating! We went out a couple weeks ago and we hang out on the weekends when there is time. Just thought I would share that. :) He's really good, nice, funny, and just so cute. It's normal and he sits next to me at church. I'm loving it down here. I'm super busy and don't see Skip and Suzanne much. I haven't seen the boys yet. We had tentative plans last Sat but Jessica was sick. Hopefully I will get to see them soon. I don't think I'll be hanging out with Brock tomorrow so hopefully it will work out with their schedule to see the boys. I hope so. I love you all.

I lied

Here's my exciting new pictures
So this is a little glimpse of my job. I really love the people here and most of my customers. These are job files. Those yellow papers are job tickets and I create those and they go out into production with all the info to print. Last week Ken and I obviously had too much time on our hands. There's not a picture of Carleen but we turn these into her and she's a cute little thing. She's about 4'11" so we wanted to make it quite tall. It was a good time. So that's Ken that I work with as well.

The Hustle as seen on You Tube

Lamo

So nothing too exciting has been going on for me and I haven't had any new exciting pictures. So here's out date night Satuday
I have only been there on our girls day out so it was Michael's first time. We got soup, salad, and sandwich (shocker!) and it was delicious. We went back home and just watched a movie - which I can't remember the name (its been 2 days, don't expect much). But I do remember I liked it. We've just been having a good time being normal and plain.

California Christmas

This was a pretty tall Who. So, naturally we needed a picture with her. A tall Who, who knew?
Oh, thing 1 and thing 2 were entertaining all day long. We were at Universal Studios for the Grinch Christmas. It was soooo cold. Seriously, I know it was more warm than Utah but, 35 is freaking cold for California. We were all wearing several layers.
Oh, Pam!
This is what welcomed Me and Shelby to Los Angeles. Usually smog welcomes us but, not this time. It was so beautiful.
We were being silly by trying on ugly hair things. I love doing this. I don't think the Pierson's love doing this but, they played along well.

Picture for You.

Here is a picture for you Suzy. :)) That is my double-chin smile which is 1 reason why I am going to try the "Gold's Gym Challenge." I would love random texts of encouragement and 'you can do it' over the next 9 weeks. THANK YOU!

mmmm

I like the change. Thanks. I like the comments on the side. I want to upload some pictures but, just haven't yet. So, this is a boring entry.

Man oh Man was my day soooo stressful at work today. I just wish that I could have the average person follow me at work to see just how insane my job is. I love what I do but, sometimes I'm am in awe at what I'm asked to do. I'm in awe of the trust that parents have in me. I can't believe that I am the "professional" they are cleaving too. Man, who would have guessed?

Is change good?

I seem to really like to change things up. I added those fish today (on the right-hand side) and if you click your mouse in their pond it gives them food and they all scurry over to eat. It is a great activity if your mind is on over-load and you need to just drop it down a notch...like mine.

Also, I added the comments on the side because I never know if someone comments, and Sarah had left a pretty important comment for me, but I didn't know (until today). So, I added that 'gadget' too.

Post

I still need to buy a battery charger for my camera. Apparently this runs in the Black family gene since Mom, Aunt Suzanne, and I are all having problems with it. So I have no pictures from FL yet. But there isn't a lot to take pictures of at the moment. Orlando is not so beautiful when you drive ALL over it finding places that close when you get there or are the wrong places. :) Especially when you are sick at the same time. But who is complaining? But really, I like being here. The first night I had a little stab of that loneliness. But nothing like I had in CT. I've experienced being completely alone and not knowing a soul. So this is my second go-around, plus I know people.

I found out I work just down the street and around the corner from Brandt and Nicole's. So I will get to see them semi-often. I hope to see the boys semi-often as well. Aunt Suzanne and I had a girls night tonight and I went to bed at 10 (before her). But now it is 1am and I still have not fallen asleep. Grr. And we decided we're going to a local Irish Pub on St. Patrick's day. She said they have really good Irish food. Yea! I also got her thinking about going down to the Keys so that we can drive on the highway that goes over the ocean!!! Plus, I'm going to try to train for a 1/2 marathon. Phew...I'm tired just writing about it. But not tired enough to fall asleep.

I took this picture with my phone. It is on 2-15 on my way to school in the morning. It is just before you go around the bend. It's so pretty. :)

My friend, Katharine, made her hat (she made one for me too). And we were invertly matching!!

Never make a bet

So another date night for us but it started with a bet. We were watching a Friends episode and we had a bet on who the guest stars real name was. Michael was sure he knew and I questioned but began to be sure I knew (it was someone else). He kept asking if I wanted to bet, I kept saying no but when I really thought I was right I said sure and it's Red Lobster. It's been fun teasing him on owing me this but now I can't since we went but it was awesome. He got Lobster and Steak and I got crab, shrimp and salmon. I love it there sadly. Another bonus, we had a credit of $7.50 for Tangled so we only had to pay for one. I've heard this movie was great and I would completely agree. We really enjoyed it. I recommend it for everyone.

Expensive dogs, doors, & tuition

My poor little Buddy has not gotten enough time to get outside and loosen up to poop. I leave at 6:30 a.m. and get home around 8 each weeknight, and 11 on Friday. My roommates are very kind and generous, and usually let him out, but he still had a little poop accident on the rug.

So, I finally broke down and ordered a wireless, electric fence for him. A regular fence is pretty unlikely in the near future due to the high-pressure gas main behind the house and money. Plus, with the ground being frozen there is no way I am going to dig up grass for an electronic fence with wires, so here comes the $300 wireless, electronic fence. In addition, I bought a door that goes with my sliding glass door and charged another $170. While feeling a moment of indecision about these pretty hefty purchases (right after $1300 tuition is due) a co-worker said the best solution was to get rid of the dog. ~POOF~ indecision gone- Buddy will soon have expensive access to the great backyard. Oh the short adventures he will have... As a side bonus, the dog door is very large, so the future Great Dane or Great Pyrenees dog will be able to utilize the same door. Token picture:
